Altberg Leder-Gris Xtreme has a high oil content and is not recommended for daily or weekly use.
It was developed to keep boots which are getting wet, then dry, regularly, and where there are clear signs of leather hardening, which can result in flex cracking.
Leder-Gris Xtreme, if used at an early stage, can help avoid flex cracking, however, if hardening is too advanced, then it is less effective.
For occasional Use only. Always follow the use of Leder-Gris Xtreme with Leder-Gris original (eg. one day later)
Please Note: Leder-Gris Xtreme may darken the colour of the leather.

- Wax Content – Very Low: The main purpose of Leder-Gris Xtreme is restorative, waterproofing is less because waxes are less
Instructions for use:
Brush in Leder-Gris Xtreme when the boots are ALMOST dry, use the brush to drive the wax-oil INTO the leather, ALWAYS treat with Leder-Gris before storage. Altberg recommend only Leder-Gris products for use on their boots. If leather shows signs of hardening, or after use in extreme wet conditions, use Leder-Gris Xtreme as a ‘one-off’ treatment.
