Materials & Insulation
Pertex Shield fully taped waterproof outer – Durable, waterproof and fully taped outer constructed from a fusion of advanced face fabrics and combined with a breathable waterproof PU film laminated to offer high levels of wind and water protection, and excellent breathability.

700FP Recycled Down – Fluorocarbon free down with a Hydrophobic treatment applied at the source during down processing. Allowing it to absorb less water, dry faster and retain loft.

Stratus™ Synthetic Sheet Insulation – Doesn’t absorb water. Used in specific in the hood and cuffs that are more likely to come into contact with moisture.

A closer look
The Valiance utilises a unique bonded narrow box-wall baffle construction that runs horizontally across the body. Because the box-shaped baffles are not pinched at the edges there is space for the down to fully loft throughout the chamber allowing for an even distribution of down, and vastly reducing the likelihood of cold spots. The extra material used to create each box means that these garments are usually heavier and less packable. However, in the most extreme temperatures, they are often the best solution.

Slimline, Velcro adjustable cuffs and a glove friendly drawcord adjustment at the hem, and rear of the hood, help you to keep out the elements. A YKK VISLON front zip with internal zip baffle keeps out the wind and rain, two zipped pockets also keep your hands warm and an internal zipped pockets keep your valuables close.
